Job summary

EdEx - Education Recruitment is recruiting two SEMH Teaching Assistants for a specialist primary school in Ealing, Greater London. You will support pupils with SEMH and additional needs, delivering tailored 1:1 and small-group interventions to help engagement and learning.

The role suits psychology graduates or those with SEMH/SEN experience, offering Monday–Friday term-time work and a welcoming, nurturing environment focused on emotional regulation and positive relationships.

Qualifications

• Degree in Psychology or related field is beneficial but not essential.
• Experience supporting SEMH, SEN or behavioural needs is desirable.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored 1:1 and small-group support to pupils.
• Support pupils with SEMH needs to access learning and manage emotions.
• Collaborate with the class teacher and support staff to create a positive learning environment.
• Assist with emotional regulation and social development.
