Qualifications

• Ideal SEN Teaching Assistant: graduate or experienced TA with interest in SEMH
• Patient, empathetic, and passionate about inclusive education
• Skilled in behaviour management or willing to learn quickly
• Calm, consistent, and confident in challenging situations
• Committed to working full-time for the academic year

Responsibilities

• Supporting students with SEMH and additional learning needs in-class and 1:1
• Promoting emotional regulation, resilience, and confidence
• Implementing behaviour support strategies in collaboration with SENCo
• Providing academic interventions and personalised support
• Encouraging positive engagement and independent learning
• Tracking progress and feeding back to teaching staff
