SEMH Teaching Assistant role at an Outstanding Primary School in West London (Hounslow) is a full-time position with a supportive SEN team. You will work with students with SEMH, provide in-class and 1:1 support, and help foster emotional regulation and learning engagement.

Qualifications

• Graduate or experienced TA with an interest in SEMH.
• Patient, empathetic and passionate about inclusive education.
• Calm, consistent and confident in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Supporting students with SEMH and learning needs in-class and 1:1.
• Promoting emotional regulation, resilience, and confidence.
• Implementing behaviour support strategies with SENCo.
• Providing academic interventions and personalised support.
• Encouraging positive engagement and independent learning.
• Tracking progress and feeding back to teaching staff.
