Job summary

EdEx - Education Recruitment is helping a welcoming primary school in Richmond to recruit SEMH Teaching Assistants. You will support pupils with SEMH and additional needs, providing tailored 1:1 and small-group support to help them access learning and manage emotions.

Based in a specialist setting, you will work alongside the class teacher to build confidence, resilience and positive relationships, contributing to a calm, structured learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEMH or related needs.
• Ability to provide tailored 1:1 and small-group support.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Support primary pupils with SEMH and additional SEN needs.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group learning support.
• Collaborate with class teacher and wider support staff.
• Support pupils with emotional regulation and positive relationships.
