Randstad Education is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEMH in Bodmin, Cornwall (PL31). This full-time, long-term contract starts September 2026 and offers consistent, tailored support outside mainstream settings.

Qualifications

• SEMH experience is essential.
• Full UK driving licence is essential, with access to a vehicle for local transport.

Responsibilities

• Individualised support: tailor learning materials and activities to students' goals and emotional needs.
• Curriculum access: enable students to access a broad curriculum through engaging methods.
• Behaviour as communication: de-escalate situations with empathy and trauma-informed approaches.
• Community & off-site learning: support student transport and off-site educational trips.
