Qualifications

• Experience supporting SEND/SEMH pupils in a school setting.
• Ability to stay calm and patient with learners who need support.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils.
• Help pupils manage emotions and stay engaged with learning.
• Use routines and boundaries to create consistency in the classroom.
• Adapt activities to individual needs and communication styles.
• Encourage independence and positive choices.
• Collaborate with teachers and other support staff.
• Remain calm and supportive when a pupil is overwhelmed.
