Job summary

Randstad UK in Banstead is seeking an exceptional Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 5 to 18 with complex learning needs in a specialist school setting. You will assist with educational, social and personal development, helping engage students and foster positive interactions.

Applicants should have 3–6 months’ experience in special education, experience with autism or non-verbal pupils is desirable, and GCSEs in English and Maths at grade 4/C or above.

Job description

We are searching for an exceptional and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join their team of staff at a specialist school in Banstead.

In this rewarding position, you will support the educational, social, and personal growth of pupils aged 5 to 18 who experience complex learning difficulties and needs. You will help facilitate classroom engagement and guide students in building positive interpersonal connections.

Working Hours: 8:30-4:30

Requirements:

3-6 months of experience within special education, working with students who have autism, complex needs and are non-verbal.

Enhanced DBS check (Child and Adult Workforce) on the Update Service or willingness to undergo one.

Full eligibility to work in the UK - sponsorship is not offered with any of these roles.

GCSE grades in English and Maths at 4/C or above.
