Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking a Teaching Assistant for a specialist school in Banstead. You will support pupils aged 5 to 18 with complex learning difficulties, focusing on educational, social, and personal growth.

The role runs 8:30-4:30 with DBS and UK eligibility checks, and GCSEs in English/Maths required. Vehicle access is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• 3–6 months of experience in special education with autism and complex needs.
• Enhanced DBS check (Child and Adult Workforce) or willingness to obtain one.
• Full eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship not offered).
• GCSE English and Maths at 4/C or above.

Requirements:

3-6 months of experience within special education, working with students who have autism, complex needs and are non-verbal.

Enhanced DBS check (Child and Adult Workforce) on the Update Service or willingness to undergo one.

Full eligibility to work in the UK - sponsorship is not offered with any of these roles.

GCSE grades in English and Maths at 4/C or above.
