Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking an exceptional Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Banstead. You will support pupils aged 5 to 18 with complex learning difficulties, autism, and non-verbal communication, helping them engage in lessons and build positive relationships.

This rewarding role requires 3-6 months of relevant experience in special education, a valid Enhanced DBS (Child and Adult Workforce) or willingness to update, GCSEs in English and Maths at 4/C or above, and full eligibility

Qualifications

• 3-6 months of experience in special education.
• Enhanced DBS check (Child and Adult Workforce) on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• GCSE grades in English and Maths at 4/C or above.
• Full eligibility to work in the UK - sponsorship is not offered.
• Access to own vehicle preferred.

We are searching for an exceptional and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join their team of staff at a specialist school in Banstead.

In this rewarding position, you will support the educational, social, and personal growth of pupils aged 5 to 18 who experience complex learning difficulties and needs. You will help facilitate classroom engagement and guide students in building positive interpersonal connections.

Working Hours: 8:30-4:30

Requirements:

3-6 months of experience within special education, working with students who have autism, complex needs and are non-verbal.

Enhanced DBS check (Child and Adult Workforce) on the Update Service or willingness to undergo one.

Full eligibility to work in the UK - sponsorship is not offered with any of these roles.

GCSE grades in English and Maths at 4/C or above.
