Milk Education is recruiting Teaching Assistants across local schools, offering an exciting transition for people with care backgrounds to move into education. If you have experience supporting children, young people or adults in care, your transferable skills could work well in a school environment.

You don't necessarily need prior education experience. We seek patient, compassionate, resilient and confident individuals who can build positive relationships with pupils, support SEND/SEMH needs,

Qualifikationen

  • Previous experience within care, support work, healthcare, residential care, youth work or a similar environment.
  • Transferable experience supporting vulnerable children, young people or adults.
  • A patient, compassionate and understanding approach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to build positive relationships and establish trust.
  • Resilience and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
  • A flexible and proactive approach with a willingness to get stuck in.
  • A genuine interest in developing a career within education.
  • Experience or knowledge of SEND, SEMH or autism is desirable but not essential.
  • A willingness to complete the required safeguarding and compliance checks.

  • Getting involved in wider school activities and becoming part of the school team

Care Assistant's looking to work in Education

Milk Education are currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants across local schools, offering an exciting opportunity for people with a care background and transferable skills to move into a career in education.

If you have experience supporting children, young people or adults in care, residential, support work, healthcare or similar settings, your existing skills could transfer incredibly well into a school environment.

You don't necessarily need previous experience working in education. We're looking for people who are patient, compassionate, resilient and confident building positive relationships, with a genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential.
