Milk Education is seeking a dedicated SEMH Behaviour Support Assistant to work 1:1 with a Year 4 pupil in WA9. The role runs Monday to Friday, 08:30–15:30, with ASAP start, supporting emotional regulation, learning engagement and inclusive classroom routines.
You will de-escalate challenging behaviour using positive strategies, build trusted relationships, liaise with the class teacher and SEND team, and contribute to a safe, supportive environment.

We are currently recruiting for a SEMH Behaviour Support Assistant to join a Primary School in WA9. This is a long-term opportunity supporting a Year 4 pupil on a 1:1 basis who has SEMH needs, behavioural difficulties and a diagnosis of PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance).
This is a rewarding role for someone with experience supporting children with additional needs and challenging behaviour. The successful candidate will build a positive relationship with the pupil, help them regulate emotions, engage in learning and navigate the school day successfully.
The role is Monday to Friday, 08:30am to 15:30pm, with an ASAP start.
The school is looking for a patient, resilient and nurturing individual who can provide consistency, set clear boundaries and positively support the pupil both inside and outside of the classroom.
