Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is partnering with a primary school in Blackpool (FY2) to recruit a full-time SEMH 1:1 Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will support a Year 2 pupil, aiding academic and social progression, mainly in class with occasional targeted interventions outside the classroom.

Immediate start and until the end of the academic year, with SLT and teachers providing support. Experience with SEMH/SEN needs is essential, and compassionate, patient individuals are encouraged

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEMH/SEN needs is essential.
• Year 2 classroom SEMH support experience preferred.
• Must be compassionate with strong emotional support skills.

Responsibilities

• Role is 1:1 support for a Year 2 child to aid academic and social progression.
• Mainly classroom-based with occasional tailored interventions outside the classroom.
• Full-time role starting immediately until the end of the academic year.

Teaching Personnel are working with a primary school within the Blackpool area (FY2) who are looking to appoint a full-time SEMH support assistant. This role will start immediately and will run until the end of the academic year. This role requires a passionate, patient individual who has prior experience working with SEMH children This 1:1 role will be to support a child in year 2 to help support progression both academically and socially. The role is mostly classroom based but there may be times where tailored interventions outside the classroom are required. The successful candidate will have support from the senior leadership and classroom teacher.
