Job summary

Machu Specialist Education in Hayes, Middlesex, is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with EHCPs and SEMH needs in a welcoming specialist school. You will work under teachers, following planning and adapting to individual needs.

The role offers a close-knit team, pastoral support, and progression within SEN/SEMH education. A DBS check is welcomed; experience with children or young people is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEMH, SEND or complex needs (paid or voluntary).
• Calm, nurturing manner and commitment to inclusive education.
• Ability to stay consistent and composed under pressure.
• Good communication and team-first attitude.
• Willingness to undergo enhanced DBS check (or hold one).
