Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting an SEMH Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEMH needs in a Derby school. This full-time position is a temp-to-perm role starting immediately, with hours 08:30–15:30 and a 1:1 support focus.

You should bring resilience and energy, with prior experience of working with children with SEND/SEMH. The role emphasises safeguarding, building trusting relationships, and promoting inclusive learning in a busy educational environment.

• Must have recent experience working with children/young people, specifically those with SEND/SEMH.

Aspire People are recruiting for an SEMH Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEMH needs in a school located in Derby. This role is to work full-time, on a temp to perm basis starting immediately! The working hours are 08:30 - 15:30 and you will predominantly be working 1:1 with students who show disregulated behaviour.

The role requires high level of resilience and we are ideally looking for people who are energetic and have experience of working with children with social emotional and mental health needs.

Teaching Assistant role & responsibilities:
