Job summary

Aspire People is seeking a Teaching Assistant for a partner school in Daventry to support students with SEMH and other learning needs. You will work with teachers and a multi-disciplinary team to deliver tailored learning and promote inclusion.

The role involves 1:1 and small group interventions, helping with lesson delivery, behaviour support, and creating a calm, supportive classroom environment. A minimum Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning is required or you must be

• Calm, compassionate, and patient approach.
• Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with students and staff.
• Minimum Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or willingness to work towards).

The Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with teachers and the wider multi-disciplinary team to support students both inside and outside the classroom. You'll play a key role in helping to deliver tailored learning, develop students' confidence, and encourage positive engagement with education.
