Job Title: Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Teaching Assistant
Location: Burnley, Lancashire
Salary: £13.75 – £14.50 per hour
Contract Type: Permanent, Term Time Only (39 weeks)
Working Hours: Full-time or Part-time (flexible options available)
Start Date: 1st September 2025

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide tailored support to pupils with SEMH needs, both individually and in small groups.
  • Assist in implementing behaviour management strategies and fostering emotional regulation.

  • Promote positive interactions and social skills among pupils.
  • Support pupils in overcoming barriers to learning and encourage independence.

Requirements
