Salary Grade: Teachers Main Scale plus SEN allowance

About the Role

The Governors of St George’s CE Primary School are seeking to appoint a SENCO to work within our Inclusion team. The role will be primarily non-teaching, but some classroom cover may be required. We welcome interest from colleagues who already hold the National SENCO Award and from teachers committed to high-quality SEND provision and inclusion.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in developing our SEND provision and inclusive practice.

Candidate Profile
  • Be an organized, dedicated, and conscientious SEND Coordinator.
  • Be a highly skilled teacher with exemplary classroom practice and coaching skills.
  • Have experience with SEND and inclusion, with a good understanding of the SEND Code of Practice.
  • Have a strong track record in identifying children's needs and impacting pupil progress.
  • Possess excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to lead, motivate, and inspire others.
  • Be innovative, passionate about inclusive education, and strategic in developing SEND across the school.
  • Be fully committed to our school ethos.
