Job summary

Randstad Education in Frome is seeking a compassionate SEMH Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEMH, ASC, and attachment needs on a day-to-day, flexible basis. You will be part of a dedicated team delivering tailored activities and supporting pupils to engage and grow.

The role runs 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with access to high-level SEMH training and Thrive strategies, working alongside Thrive and Therapy experts to help pupils heal, build resilience and succeed in a

• Strong passion for working with children or young people with SEMH, ASC, or neurodivergent needs.
• Experience in schools, care, or community settings is desirable.
• A trauma-informed mindset characterised by a non-judgemental, patient, and empathetic approach.
• Excellent resilience and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to engage in specialist training.
