About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and resilient SEMH Teacher with QTS to join a supportive and inclusive school in London that specialises in educating pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual SEMH needs.
Establish strong, trusting relationships with pupils to support emotional regulation and behaviour.
Work closely with pastoral staff, teaching assistants, and external professionals to deliver holistic support.
Contribute to the development of personalised learning and behaviour support plans.
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture that promotes confidence, self-esteem, and resilience.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Essential.
Experience teaching pupils with SEMH or similar behavioural needs is highly desirable.
Strong behaviour management skills and a trauma-informed approach.
Excellent communication, adaptability, and a team-focused mindset.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
