SEN Teacher - Special Needs School Vauxhall
Start Date: September 2025 or sooner
Location: Vauxhall
Salary: Competitive- (phone number removed)
Contract: Full-time (Monday - Friday 8.30am-4pm)

A special needs school in Vauxhall is seeking an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher to join our dedicated team in September. We provide specialist education for students aged 5-12, working at a learning level of up to Lower Key Stage 2.

About the Role:

  • Plan and deliver tailored lessons to support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
  • Create a nurturing and structured environment to help students thrive academically and emotionally.
  • Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and families to develop effective learning strategies.
  • Implement communication methods such as Makaton and PECS (desirable but not essential).


Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Essential
  • Experience working with ASD and SEMH students.
  • Strong classroom management and differentiation skills.
  • Strong behaviour management skills
