Job summary

Randstad Education in the UK is recruiting a dedicated SEMH Teacher (QTS) for a full-time, long-term role in Wilburton, Cambridgeshire.

You'll deliver tailored learning, support emotional regulation, and provide trauma-informed guidance to pupils with SEMH needs, in a small-group setting with strong SEN/SEMH support. Immediate start available for suitable candidates.

Must have UK Right to Work and Enhanced DBS. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Must have QTS or QTLS and full UK Right to Work.
• Experience with SEMH, ASC, or challenging behaviours.
• Enhanced DBS via Update Service or willingness to process one.
• Full-time, 5-day-a-week commitment in Wilburton.
• No visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Deliver differentiated learning tailored to EHCPs.
• De-escalation and emotional regulation strategies.
• Build trusting relationships with vulnerable pupils.
• Lead SEN/SEMH Teaching Assistants for 1-to-1 and small group interventions.
• Track holistic progress and update EHCP logs.
