Randstad UK is recruiting a SEMH Teaching Assistant for a long-term position in Bury St Edmunds. You will work in a specialist SEN setting supporting children with SEMH, ASC, and ADHD, building emotional resilience and re-engaging learners.

Qualifications

• Experience with SEMH and neurodivergent needs in education or youth settings.
• Patience, emotional resilience, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group SEMH support.
• Support emotional regulation and trauma-informed approaches.
• Collaborate with teachers, pastoral staff, and therapists.
• Maintain records of pupil progress and behaviour.
