Job summary

GSL Education in Slough is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEMH needs. You will work on a 1:1 and small-group basis, helping manage emotions and behaviour and build trusting relationships to enable learning.

• Experience working with SEMH, SEN or challenging behaviour is desirable.
• Patient, resilient and confident when managing behaviour.
• Able to build strong relationships with children.
• Passionate about supporting pupils' personal and educational development.

Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEMH needs.
• Helping pupils manage their emotions and behaviour in class.
