Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a SEND Teacher with QTS to support pupils with SEMH needs in Bristol. The role offers a long-term placement with the potential to become permanent and daily pay of £150–£230.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging lessons, build strong relationships with pupils and work closely with support staff to overcome barriers to learning in a positive, inclusive classroom.

Qualifications

• Requires Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND or SEMH.
• Patience, adaptability and confident managing challenging behaviour.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
• Support pupils with SEMH needs in a structured learning environment.
• Build positive relationships and encourage good behaviour.
• Collaborate with support staff and education professionals to support learning.
