Job summary

Trust Education Ltd in Chesterfield is recruiting a SEND/SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school, supporting pupils with SEND/SEMH needs. This is a full-time, long-term position with an ASAP start.

Hours are Monday-Thursday full school days, with Friday finish at 2:30pm. The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to support learning, behaviour, and inclusion, providing targeted help for pupils with SEND/SEMH needs and contributing to a positive classroom

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEND/SEMH in a school setting.
• Experience in a specialist school is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEND/SEMH in class and during activities.
• Assist teaching staff with planning and delivering interventions.
