Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking an SEMH Nurture Teacher in Cheshire for a long-term post. You will teach a balanced Primary Curriculum to Year 7 to 11 students requiring extra support, in a calm, supportive environment. Classes are small (6–7 students) and you’ll be supported by learning assistants. The role starts September 2026 and runs to July 2027, with potential extension; temporary, full-time hours 8:30–3:30.

Qualifications

• UK Qualified Teacher Status is essential for this role.
• Eligible to teach Primary KS2 or Secondary KS3/4 with Nurture Groups experience.
• Previous experience in a UK school.
• Up-to-date safeguarding training issued in the last year.

Responsibilities

• Teach a balanced Primary Curriculum to small groups (up to 6–7 students).
• Work with learning assistants to support student progress.
• Deliver nurture provisions within a specialist setting.
