Job summary

Justteachers is seeking a full-time PRU Learning Support Assistant to join an alternative provision in the Leeds area, starting June 2026 to cover on a short-term supply basis. Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent).
• Proven experience supporting pupils with SEMH or challenging behaviour.
• Strong knowledge of behaviour management strategies and SEMH support approaches.
• Two education or school-based references.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEMH needs on a 1:1 and small group basis.
• Implement behaviour management strategies to promote engagement and positive outcomes.
• Work closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams to support pupils’ emotional and academic development.
