Job summary

St John the Baptist Primary School in Tees Valley is seeking an Inclusion Support Practitioner to join the Key Stage 2 team as soon as possible.

You will support pupils with SEMH using Thrive and trauma-informed practices, deliver targeted interventions, support emotional regulation, and work with families and external professionals.

The role is NJC Grade F SCP 7-8, 32.5 hours, Term Time plus 5 days, permanent, with a salary in the range £20,165 to £20,953 per year.

Qualifications

• Supports pupils with SEMH needs in accessing the curriculum.
• Understand and respond to children's individual needs.
• Promote communication, engagement, and independence under teacher guidance.
• Regulate behaviour positively using agreed strategies.
• Work closely with teaching staff, SENCO, and external professionals.
