The Gateway Primary Free School is seeking an Inclusion Advocate to support our most vulnerable pupils, working with the Inclusion Lead and SENDCo to implement consistent strategies. You will bridge teachers, parents and learners to foster academic targets and lifelong independence.

We value collaborative planning, early intervention, and safeguarding. The role is 37 hours per week during term time plus 10 days, with a permanent contract and immediate start.

Competenze

• Experience in a primary school setting supporting learners with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Strong learning support and behaviour management abilities.
• Good ICT skills and the ability to adapt to varied learner needs.
• Excellent communication with pupils, families and staff.
• GCS/levels and a Level 2 qualification are required; Level 3 desirable.

Mansioni

• Model inclusive strategies and scaffolding for classroom teachers.
• Collaborate with the Inclusion Lead and SENDCo to develop support plans.
• Maintain daily contact with pupils to support attitudes, self-regulation and life skills.
• Represent the voice of the child in meetings with families and professionals.
• Maintain accurate confidential records of pastoral concerns and interventions.
