We are collaborating with a fantastic special school on the outskirts of Bath seeking an HLTA to join their team. The school caters to a range of special needs, primarily focusing on SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental health).
Currently, we have three candidates working full-time/long-term at the school who speak highly of the supportive environment.
The HLTA role is versatile. Responsibilities include leading pre-planned lessons, providing classroom support as a TA, and acting as the school's all-rounder.
Ideal candidates should be adaptable, proactive, confident, enthusiastic, and comfortable leading classes. Experience with SEMH and managing challenging behaviour is essential, given the needs of the students.
