Do you have the skills and experience to support a pupil with ASD and SEMH needs on a one-to-one basis?

A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Bristol is looking to appoint a HLTA, Instructor, or Qualified Teacher (PGCE) to work 1:1 with a Year 7 pupil who has an EHCP outlining specific support for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

The Role:

1. Provide consistent, structured 1:1 support throughout the school day
2. Help the pupil access learning and achieve the outcomes set out in their EHCP
3. Work closely with the school's SENDCO and SEND Manager to deliver tailored interventions and strategies

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• An HLTA qualification, PGCE, or equivalent teaching/instructional experience
• Experience working with pupils with ASD and SEMH needs
