Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is seeking Mental Health Support Workers to partner with schools across Stoke-on-Trent, helping pupils facing SEMH needs with tailored academic and emotional support.

This role offers a competitive daily rate, weekly PAYE, and opportunities for professional development, including funded qualifications and progression routes, with mandatory DBS and right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience with SEMH needs in schools, care, or youth work.
• Ability to manage challenging behaviour using de-escalation strategies.
• Patient, empathetic, emotionally resilient with a calm approach.
• Capability to support pupils 1:1 or in small groups.
• DBS Update Service or willingness to apply via Connex Education.
• Proof of right to work in the UK.
