Job summary

TeacherActive is partnering with a therapeutic education setting in Bottesford to recruit an SEMH Class Teacher. You will deliver engaging STEM lessons, manage challenging behaviours and implement therapeutic approaches to suit individual learning needs.

Applicants should have QTS/QTLS or equivalent and proven SEMH experience, with a full UK driving licence and a commitment to safeguarding. This is a full-time role, temporary to permanent, with an immediate start.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting young people with SEMH needs.
• Strong behaviour management experience.
• Ability to de-escalate challenging situations and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Confidence delivering STEM subjects and adapting lessons to individual abilities.
