Job summary

Vision for Education is working with a specialist primary school in Henbury, Bristol to provide a Behaviour Mentor for pupils with SEMH needs. The role focuses on helping children feel safe, build trust and develop positive strategies to manage emotions and behaviour.

The ideal candidate will have experience with challenging behaviour, resilience and the ability to stay calm under pressure, while building strong relationships with boundaries. Training and support are available.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with significant or extreme challenging behaviour.
• A resilient, patient and enthusiastic approach.
• The ability to remain calm and respond positively in difficult situations.
• Confidence building relationships while maintaining clear, consistent boundaries.
• A genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning.
