Job summary

Uxbridge High School seeks a Behaviour Intervention Guidance Leader to support the Alternative Provision and Behaviour Manager. You will mentor students with SEMH and behavioural needs, coordinating personalised plans and positively guiding reintegration into mainstream lessons.

The role requires safeguarding training and collaboration with pastoral teams, SEND staff, and external agencies to ensure holistic student support and progress monitoring.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification; behaviour/SEMH training; safeguarding training essential.
• First Degree desirable.
• Training in SEND, counselling, youth work, or trauma-informed practice desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support students with SEMH, behaviour, or neurodiversity needs and provide mentoring.
• Collaborate with staff and multidisciplinary teams to reintegrate students into mainstream classes.
• Develop personalised, holistic support plans addressing academic, social, and emotional needs.
• Communicate progress and concerns to parents and carers and attend multi-agency meetings.
