Job summary

Aspire People recruitment for a Behaviour Intervention Lead in Solihull. You will work with teaching staff, pastoral teams and senior leaders to support students aged 11-16 with SEMH needs, ASD and behavioural needs.

Deliver targeted interventions and help learners develop emotional regulation and resilience. Role requires experience with challenging behaviour, strong safeguarding and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people displaying challenging behaviour.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong safeguarding understanding.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and de-escalate situations.
• Background in education, Alternative Provision, youth work, mentoring or children's services.

Responsibilities

• Support students whose behaviour presents barriers to learning.
• Implement behaviour strategies and deliver targeted interventions.
• Help students develop emotional regulation, resilience and positive coping strategies.
• Work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams and senior leaders.
