Job summary

Homey is seeking a self-employed conveyancer to review title and pre-exchange checklists for residential purchases from our Paddington office. You will sign off when standards are met and flag any gaps or risks for resolution.

Ideal candidates hold current practising status (SRA/CLC/Solicitor/CILEX) and have hands-on experience with freehold, leasehold, new-build and unregistered titles. Strong communication and a collaborative approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified conveyancer with current practising status.
• Extensive residential title experience across freehold, leasehold, new-build and unregistered titles.
• Knowledge of Land Registry practice, SDLT and Conveyancing Protocol.

Responsibilities

• Review completed title and pre-exchange checklists and sign off when standards are met.
• Identify gaps, risks and issues on title and flag resolution needs before sign-off.
• Serve as go-to reference for the case-handling team on title queries.
• Help raise quality and consistency of title reviews across the firm.
