Job summary

Homey is seeking a qualified conveyancer or solicitor to review and sign off client due diligence, source of funds and risk assessments across our conveyancing brands. The role reports into the Business Unit Manager and collaborates closely with our COLP on emerging risk themes.

You will review and sign off on due diligence, source of funds evidence, and matter risk assessments, while escalating red flags with clear recommendations.

Qualifications

• Qualified conveyancer, solicitor or CILEx-qualified with AML/CDD experience in residential conveyancing.
• Working knowledge of SRA Standards and Regulations and AML/source-of-funds expectations.
• Sharp eye for risk and ability to elevate key issues, not every detail.
• Comfort saying no in a fast-moving commercial environment when checks are not satisfied.

Responsibilities

• Review and sign due diligence, ID verification and matter risk assessments on every new matter.
• Review and sign source of funds/ source of wealth evidence before funds are accepted.
• Escalate red flags to the COLP the same day with a clear recommendation.
• Provide precise, actionable feedback to ensure gaps are not repeated.
