Job summary

Example Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Self-Employed Domestic Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer to cover South Coast contracts in BN postcode areas. The role offers day rates of £250–£275 with OOH standby and door-to-door pay, and all appointments booked via PDA.

Applicants must have proven domestic gas servicing, breakdown, repair and diagnostics experience, Gas Safe Registration and ACS qualifications. Own van and tools, with appropriate insurance, are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in domestic gas servicing, breakdown, repair and diagnostics.
• Current Gas Safe Registration.
• ACS qualifications covering relevant domestic appliances (cookers and fires).
• Own van and tools required.
• Calibrated flue gas analyser and appropriate insurance.

Responsibilities

• Annual landlord gas safety checks / CP12s.
• Domestic boiler servicing.
• Boiler breakdowns and repairs.
• Fault finding and diagnostics.
• Gas appliance servicing and repair.
• Completing all work via PDA.
• Providing a professional service to tenants/customers.
