Job summary

Example Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Self-Employed Domestic Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer to cover South Coast contracts in BN postcode areas. The role offers day rates of £250–£275 with OOH standby and door-to-door pay, and all appointments booked via PDA.

Applicants must have proven domestic gas servicing, breakdown, repair and diagnostics experience, Gas Safe Registration and ACS qualifications. Own van and tools, with appropriate insurance, are required.

Domestic Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer – South Coast / BN Postcodes

Location: South Coast – BN Postcode Areas

Work Type: Self-Employed / Sub-Contract

Day Rate: £250–£275 per day

OOH: £25 standby + £35 per hour door-to-door

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Self-Employed Domestic Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer to work across South Coast contracts covering BN postcode areas.

The Package

• £250–£275 per day, depending on qualifications and experience
• Guaranteed day rate
• OOH work available if desired
• £25 per night standby
• £35 per hour door-to-door for OOH work
• 5 days per week, with weekend work available if desired
• All appointments pre-booked via PDA
• Ongoing contract
• Weekly payment – one week in hand

Additional qualifications such as Unvented (G3) and Air Source Heat Pump experience can increase the day rate within the £250–£275 range.
