Job summary

Example Recruitment Group is recruiting experienced self-employed Gas Service & Repair Engineers for the Guildford area. Role involves annual gas safety checks, LGSRs, and central heating repairs, with 6-8 pre-booked appointments daily. Minimum 3 days per week, up to 5 days, weekly payments and fully pre-booked workload.

Exsol diagnostic software and supplied van stock enable onsite fault finding. Industry ACS CKR1/HTR1 and Gas Safe Registration are required, with £2m Public Liability Insurance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years post-qualification domestic heating experience.
• Current ACS CKR1 and HTR1 qualifications.
• Gas Safe Registration is mandatory.
• Calibrated flue gas analyser required.
• A suitable panel van (plain or sign-written).
• £2 million Public Liability Insurance.
• No unspent criminal convictions.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Annual Gas Safety Checks and LGSRs.
• Perform central heating repairs and diagnostics.
• Manage 6–8 pre-booked appointments per day.
• Work at least 3 days per week with potential to work up to 5 days.
• Earn via weekly payments with pre-booked work supplied.
