Job summary

Comex-2000 is seeking Self Employed FTTH Engineers to install and maintain Openreach network services for residential and business customers across Full Fibre networks. You’ll manage end-to-end fibre installations and on-site maintenance in a CIS framework.

You will work across overhead and underground networks, using power tools and mobile job management apps, with a strong focus on safety and customer satisfaction in the Greater London area.

Qualifications

• NRSWASLG and PIA accreditations preferred.
• Experience with overhead and underground PIA networks.
• Additional accreditations such as A001, S8, SA051C, SA002, SA007, S7, N022, SA020, N037, and K008 are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Network Build-outs: Install new telecom services by running overhead lines on utility poles, subducting protective ducts underground.
• Customer installations: Visit homes or businesses to set up internal cabling and ensure services work.
• Network Maintenance: Work with live network infrastructures—ducts and poles.
• Quality & Safety: Follow safety procedures and ensure equipment is safe to use; restore sites.
• Reporting & Admin: Use our systems to record your work and keep information up to date.

We are looking forSelf Employed FTTH (Fibre to theHome) Engineers to work on the Openreach network with both residential andbusiness customers, handling the full installation and maintenance of telecomservices. You’ll work across Full Fibre networks, delivering end-to-endsolutions.

About you

• TechnicalSkills:Strong practical knowledge of telecom networks,proficiency with power tools and basic IT skills for using mobile jobmanagement apps.
  
• Communication& Customer Care:Excellent communication skills and aprofessional approach when dealing with customers, the public, andstakeholders.

Payments under CIS:Tax will be deducted from your pay before you receive it, and the contractorwill pay this directly to HMRC on your behalf.
