Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Civil/Structural engineer to join our UK team based in Glasgow or Edinburgh, with hybrid working options. The role involves tackling complex structural problems, applying British and Eurocodes, and delivering technically robust project outputs.

You will mentor junior engineers, contribute to safety culture, and support multi-disciplinary project planning across major infrastructure initiatives for coastal and marine facilities.

Qualifications

• Good all-round technical design expertise using British and/or Eurocodes.
• Proven ability to manage projects and prepare deliverables (quality, budget, programme, resources).
• Accredited MEng in Civil Engineering or Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Inter-discipline project planning, delivery and financial performance.
• Provision of technical quality and excellence of project deliverables.
• Guidance and development of junior engineers and technicians.
• Adherence and contribution to business and quality management systems.
• Focus on operational and design safety and fostering a strong safety culture.
