Job summary

Amentum is seeking Civil/Structural engineers to join our UK team, working on complex structural problems with dynamic loads. Projects span reinforced concrete and steel structures, maritime facilities, and submarine-related work, with hybrid work options in Glasgow or Edinburgh.

Ideal candidates hold an accredited MEng in Civil Engineering or a Chartered Civil/Structural qualification, with experience across design, planning, and safety governance.

Qualifications

• Good all-round technical design expertise using British and/or Eurocodes.
• Proven ability to manage projects and preparation of deliverables including budget and programme.
• Accredited MEng in Civil Engineering or Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Inter-discipline project planning, delivery and financial performance.
• Provision of technical quality and excellence of project deliverables.
• Mentoring and development of junior engineers and technicians.
• Adherence to and contribution to quality management systems.
• Focus on safety culture and operational safety.
