Job Description:

Protocol Education is seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to work with SEND/SEMH pupils in a specialist provision in Loughton. The role involves inspiring students with SEMH backgrounds, many from distressed and toxic backgrounds.

The ideal candidate should be confident in de-escalation strategies, able to build strong rapport, and manage challenging behaviors. Empathy and a good understanding of special educational needs or social, emotional, and mental health are essential.

Resilience and hard work are necessary qualities. Experience in outdoor activities, sports, arts, or food tech would be beneficial, as the role includes outdoor and creative activities.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. A competitive salary is offered.
