A leading educational provider seeks a Behaviour Support Assistant to inspire and support students with social, emotional, and mental health needs in Grays. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, resilience, and the ability to manage challenging behaviours. Successful candidates will have an understanding of special educational needs and be available to work Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.

Seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to start ASAP! - Do you believe you can make a difference? - Are you passionate about working with SEND/SEMH pupils? - Are you a strong role model? A specialist provision in Grays those who want to inspire student’s with SEMH, many whom have come from distressed and toxic backgrounds. The right candidate will need to be confident with de-escalation strategies, robust and know how to build strong rapports and manage challenging behaviours. You must also be empathetic and have a good understanding or background in special educational needs or Social emotional, mental health. Resilience and hard work are a must. An outdoors/sports/activity co-ordinator background or creative Arts/Food tech background would also be great, as this role entails a lot of outdoors and creative activies. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
