Job description

Seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to start ASAP!

A specialist provision in Loughton supports students with SEMH, many of whom have come from distressed and toxic backgrounds.

The right candidate should be confident with de-escalation strategies, robust, and skilled in building strong rapport and managing challenging behaviours.

You must also be empathetic with a good understanding or background in special educational needs or social, emotional, and mental health.

Resilience and hard work are essential. An outdoor/sports/activity coordinator background or a creative arts/food tech background would be advantageous, as the role involves outdoor and creative activities.

You must be available to work from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday. A competitive salary is offered.

All pay rates quoted include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with potential for permanent roles in the future.
