Job summary

Galliford Try is seeking a Security Administrator to join the Security Management Team in Suffolk. The role focuses on processing security vetting applications with accuracy, confidentiality and in line with legislation and company procedures.

You will liaise with RAF stations, support aftercare vetting, and guide applicants through the process. The successful candidate will manage workloads, uphold data protection standards, and contribute to broader security functions across projects and

Qualifications

• Must be able to use Microsoft Office

• Experience in Security Vetting is desirable
• Administrative qualification desirable
• Willingness to obtain SC (Security Check)

Responsibilities

• Process security vetting applications within required timescales and ensure compliance with procedures and standards.
• Proactively manage applications to achieve timely security clearances.
• Liaise with RAF stations regarding base passes.
• Build and maintain relationships with employees, contractors, partners and stakeholders.
• Support aftercare vetting processes for appropriate security clearance levels.
• Ensure data protection and confidentiality when handling personal information.
• Provide guidance to applicants throughout the vetting process.
• Offer advice on vetting matters to colleagues and other business areas.
• Undertake additional duties as required by Security Management Team or Defence Department.
• Provide admin support to the Project Team as required.
