Job summary

Navantia UK is recruiting a Personnel Security Associate to support the delivery of an effective personnel security vetting service across UK operations. You will help ensure clearances are progressed efficiently, records are accurate, and sensitive information is handled to the highest standards of confidentiality and integrity.

You will work with colleagues, contractors and external partners, managing applications, renewals and reviews while upholding government requirements and Navantia UK

Qualifications

• Good general education, including GCSEs English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above.
• Experience or qualifications in administration, security or business support would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and process security clearance applications and reviews in line with Navantia UK procedures and government requirements.
• Provide clear, timely advice to Navantia UK business areas, employees, contractors and external organisations on personnel security and vetting matters.
• Maintain accurate vetting records, databases and trackers; ensure information is current and auditable.
• Support joiner, mover and leaver processes and other personnel security activities across the Security function.
• Deliver a responsive and professional service to internal and external stakeholders across Navantia UK’s sites and programmes.
• Contribute to team performance and continuous improvement while maintaining quality and compliance.
• Handle personal and security-sensitive information in line with data protection and Need-to-Know principles.
