Job summary

NW Security Group Limited is seeking an IT support specialist to assist customers with security systems, diagnose issues, and provide remote and on-site support. The role requires three years in IT, experience with SSL on Windows, networking knowledge and PowerShell skills, and excellent English.

Training will precede customer liaison and proactive system health checks. The position is based in the Wirral area, full-time, with a typical 8:30–17:00 schedule, offering salary of £32,500 per year

Qualifications

• Three years of professional IT experience.
• Experience with SSL certification on Windows systems.
• Good understanding of computer networking and server management.
• Some PowerShell skills.
• Strong IT skills and a keen interest in technology.
• Good organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English language skills.
• Team-focused mentality and can-do attitude.
• An IT degree or at least an HND in IT.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and high-quality service to customers using our security systems.
• Liaise directly with customers after introductory training.
• Remotely diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Handle tickets and provide remote and telephone support to fault-find and resolve problems.
• Carry out occasional on-site work when required.
• Be involved in product testing, customer onboarding, and customer system health checks.
• Configure, maintain, optimise, and update customers security systems.
• Maximise uptime and maintain continuity of service.
